Q: What is the difference between Airbrush Makeup, Hi Definition Makeup, and OTC (Over the Counter Makeup)?
A: ‘Beauty’ S/B (Silicone Based) Airbrush Makeup, WHICH IS WHAT Ms Scarlett uses, is often used for Weddings because it has long wear durability, and looks flawless in photos. S/B (Silicone Based) Airbrush Makeup is applied using a liquid form of makeup sprayed from an Airbrush Gun (sprayer) onto the face. It washes off easily but can be drying, so I recommend using a Primer if you have naturally dry skin. Hi Definition makeup was designed for movies and television, to flatter 3D Technology, and is applied using a brush or sponge. It is very close in durability to Airbrush, however it tends to provide a more ‘dewy’ look and is not as waterproof.
Lastly, OTC makeup is best for everyday makeup as it is not long wear, and appears ‘flat’ and dull in pictures.
Q: Share one of your favorite makeup tricks with us!
A: One of my favorite makeup tricks is to use an eyeshadow primer or liquiset. I can’t tell you how much that helps makeup to stay on or be the right consistency to go on smoothly, and be more vibrant.
